50% Bonus When You Purchase Radisson Rewards Points
It’s your last chance to purchase Radisson Rewards points (previously Club Carlson) with a 50% bonus. Offer ends 18th July 2018.
This points promotion is one of the first we have seen since the relaunch of the Radisson Rewards loyalty scheme for hotel brands including Radisson Blu, Park Plaza, Park Inn, and Radisson Collection (originally Quorvus Collection). The 50% bonus when you purchase Radisson Rewards points runs until 18th July 2018. In the past Club Carlson, now Radisson Rewards, have been very quick at adding the purchased and bonus points into members account, usually only taking a couple of days. As soon as Radisson Rewards points have been deposited you can then use the points to book redemption nights (as either points, or a points and cash rate) at any of their hotel brands.
Normally, to receive a bonus when purchasing hotel points you need to purchase a large amount of points. With this promotion Radisson Rewards allow you to purchase from as little as 1,000 points, up to the maximum of 40,000 points annually. Radisson will credit up to 500 bonus Radisson Rewards points for every 1,000 points purchased. The amount of bonus points you earn depends on the amount you purchase.
- Buy under 3,000 points and receive no bonus
- Buy 3,000 – 10,000 points and receive a 10% bonus
- Buy 11,000 – 30,000 points and receive a 25% bonus
- Buy 31,000 – 40,000 points and receive a 50% bonus
The bonus points do not form part of the annual limit, so a total of 40,000 points can be purchased with a further 20,000 points being received as a bonus, for a cost of $280. That works out a £3.40 per 1,000 points ($4.60 per 1,000 points).
Offer ends 18th July 2018.
35% Bonus Purchasing Marriott Rewards Points
This is your last chance to receive a 35% bonus purchasing Marriott Rewards points – Ends 20th July 2018 (Buy Starpoints and transfer into Marriott Rewards points).
The merger of Starwood and Marriott created the world’s largest hotel portfolio (over 5,700 properties, in over 110 countries, with a total of 1.1 million guest rooms). One of the main benefits since the merger is that you can transfer SPG Starpoints instantly into Marriott Rewards, and vice-versa (1 SPG Starpoint = 3 Marriott Rewards points). The fact that you can transfer points between both of the schemes means that you now have access to many more properties if you are looking to book a redemption award for either one or multiple nights. Status is also transferrable and matched between loyalty schemes. If you are looking to boost your Marriott points balance before the new loyalty scheme begins now is the time to buy SPG points and transfer them, meaning you receive a 35% bonus purchasing Marriott Rewards points.
With this points promotion running until 20th July 2018 this is likely to be the last SPG promotion available, since the new Marriott loyalty program will be forming in August. If you’re looking for Starpoints or Marriott Rewards points taking advantage of this promotion could represent a great deal.
The maximum purchase amount of 30,000 Starpoints transfers into 90,000 Marriott Rewards points. Alternatively, as Starwood currently partner with many airlines, several of which that do not sell their own currency (such as Lufthansa Miles & More), this could be a way to earn a bonus on airline mile purchases. Transfers to the majority of airlines is at a rate of 1:1, plus you receive an additional 5,000 airline miles when transferring in groups of 20,000 Starpoints.
To earn the 35% discount you need to purchase a minimum of 5,000 Starpoints before 20th July 2018. Purchases under 5,000 points do not receive a bonus.
