Since the beginning of the year Hyatt appear to have been concentrating their efforts on points promotions, and not promotions for guests based on their hotel stays. Finally, with the latest Hyatt promotion, they have started to offer guests bonus points when staying at their hotels, though the latest promotion only appears to cover Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency properties.
Simply stay at any Grand Hyatt or Hyatt Regency hotel during the promotion and you’ll earn 2,500 bonus points after every 5 qualifying nights. There’s no limit to the points you can earn. That’s on top of the points you’re already earning. Consecutive nights, non-consecutive nights, it doesn’t matter.
The promotion runs until 31st August 2018, though you need to register before 15th July 2018.
Through this is certainly not as generous as their past promotions (500 bonus points per night) you do earn these bonus points in addition to any base and elite points. It also helps that the 5 nights don’t have to all be in the same stay, so if you regularly stay at Grand Hyatt or Hyatt Regency hotels then this promotion could work for you.
It’s also worth noting that promotion eligibility is determined by when you stay, and not by when you book. If you already have stays booked at Hyatt hotels during the promotion period these will earn the bonus points as long as you register for the promotion. Bonus points can also only be earned for one room per night, though it does appears that free night awards count towards the promotion.
If you are considering booking an award or points and cash night, you can purchase Hyatt points if you need to increase your World of Hyatt points balance. You can also purchase hotel points in a other major hotel loyalty schemes.
