National Rail have announced a further promotion discounting all railcards by 10% (except the already discounted Disabled Persons Railcard). The railcard promotion has existing in the past few months offering the same 10% discount, so it would be worthwhile checking the expiry date of your existing railcard and renewing before 2nd September to receive the 10% off.
The promotion reduces the cost of railcard from £30 per year to £27 per year. All railcards are included in the promotion (except the already discounted Disabled Persons Railcard). To receive 10% off UK railcards you need to enter promo code SEARCH10 when making a purchase.
Railcards must be purchased direct from the National Rail site to receive the 10% discount. Discount is only available online through www.railcards.co.uk and is not available at train stations. The UK railcard discount applies to the following 1 year rail cards.
- 16-25 Railcard – Available to anyone aged 16 to 25, or over 25 and in full-time study – Receive 1/3 off Standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Standard Advanced and First Class Advanced fares.
- Two Together Railcard – Available to two named people travelling together aged 16 or over. Receive 1/3 off Standard and First Class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advanced fares.
- Family & Friends Railcard – Available for up to 4 adults when travelling with up to 4 children aged 5 to 15. Receive 1/3 off for adults and 60% off for kids on most rail fares.
- Senior Railcard – Available to anyone aged 60 or over – Receive 1/3 off Standard and First Class
Anytime, Off Peak and Advance fares.
