Doncaster Robin Hood Airport, formerly known as Finningley, has limited options in the departure area – a WHSmith, Subway and a Wetherspoon bar. Despite the limited options for travellers in the terminal, they are one of the best airports I have visited at extracting customer money, by charging for electric and even liquid bags. If you are looking for free electric, and all of the other benefits that a lounge has to offer then you will need to visit the Doncaster Robin Hood Airport Premium Lounge which opens around 12 months ago (original article: Premium Lounge Opens At Doncaster Airport). Below are details of the lounge directly from the Doncaster Airport site.
“Our new Premium Lounge affords time to sit back and catch up on work, or perhaps just unwind before your flight. If you want to relax in style before you board your flight, then the Premium Lounge is for you. Take your time to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks whilst catching up with the wide range of newspapers, or start reading that book you’ve been promising yourself. Soft and alcoholic drinks are included, together with a range of hot and cold snacks. A wide selection of hot drinks will also be available supplied by Nescafe Milano and Yorkshire Tea, plus the best hot chocolate you’ll find! You will also be able to enjoy unlimited super-fast wifi, flat screen TV with Sky and BBC News plus all pre-flight information.”
You can view the complimentary food and drink available online in the Doncaster Airport Premium Lounge Menu.

Currently booking lounge access direct through the Doncaster Airport site is £22.95
Flybe have 3 different ticket types; Just Fly, Get More and All In. The “All In” ticket, a fully flexible fare, comes with a few extras including executive lounge access. Currently the “All In” ticket allows lounge access at many airport lounges, but Doncaster Airport is not on the list. After a conversation with Flybe they have confirmed that currently there are no plans to add the Doncaster Premium Lounge to the list.
