Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport Premium Lounge Review

Earlier this year the small airport at Doncaster opened an airport lounge, named the “Premium Lounge at Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport“. The opening of an airport lounge was long overdue. Before the lounge there were limited options when in the departure area – a WHSmith, Subway and a Wetherspoon bar. The opening of the lounge has most likely been due additional passengers travelling on the new Flybe services, who fly to a handful of European destinations. After a recent visit here is the Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport Premium Lounge review.

The lounge is situated after security. After exiting security continue walking forward, with WHSmith on the left and the duty free store on the right. The entrance to the lounge is located on the right hand side and you need to either walk upstairs one floor, or take the lift.

Free access to the lounge is available if you are a member of Priority Pass. You can either sign up to become a Priority Pass member, allowing you to access over 900 airport lounges around the world, or open an American Express Platinum account which comes with a free Priority Pass membership for unlimited lounge access.

You can also book the Premium Lounge direct on the Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport site, or through the popular Holiday Extras site. Booking through Holiday Extras with a promo code currently works out cheaper than booking direct.

    1. Refer to your Groupon email or the page where you purchased the voucher. With the majority of Groupon deals there are usually dedicated sites where you need to activate (and possibly print) out the voucher.
