Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is one of largest hotel companies in the world, with over 1400 hotels in their portfolio spread across 115 different countries. Their hotel rewards scheme, Club Carlson, pulls together points earned at their hotel brands which include Radisson Blu, Radisson Blu Edwardian, Park Plaza and Park Inn. To boost profit, Club Carlson are trying to ‘cut out the middle men’ (the price comparison sites and hotel aggregators) who take a cut of around 15% for booking guests into a hotel. The latest “Less Search More Action” promotion aims to do just that, and also offer a 10% discount for Club Carlson members.
Club Carlson are one of my preferred hotel chains. Wherever I am in the world a Club Carlson property never seems to be too far away, which makes it even easier to boost my points balance, especially with their latest Q3 promotion. Club Carlson also seem to treat me well as an Elite status guest, offering regular upgrades to larger rooms, even suites, such as the upgrade I received early this month at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel. All of this makes me stay loyal to the chain (which is of course what they are aiming for).
Now to boost the Club Carlson membership value even more, in the “Less Search More Action” promotion, they are offering a 10% discount for members (if you’re not a Club Carlson member create an account first). The members only discount applies 10% off the best available rate. Booking through the discount rate still earns Club Carlson Gold points.
The discount is shown when booking through the “Less Search More Action” promotion on the Club Carlson site.
