Today is the end of the Hyatt 30% bonus promotion for purchases of their hotel points. The promotion has been running for a few weeks and is a great way to top-up an existing points balance. If you are just a few points away from an award night redemption, or even a points and cash redemption, then buying a small amount of points could work out cheaper than booking another stay with the hotel to earn the points required.
Even if you are not currently a member of the Hyatt Gold Passport scheme there are often loopholes where you can save money by first purchasing hotel points, and then redeeming the purchased points to make a booking. It’s easy to save thousands of pound per night using this method when booking into expensive Hilton hotels. I’m sure that Hyatt would be no different.
Hyatt – 30% Bonus
Buy up to 55,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points with a bonus of 30% when purchasing 5,000 and over. Hyatt hotel points purchases are £12.00 per 1,000 points (charged in dollars at $18 per 1,000).
Offer ends 31st August 2016.
Hilton and IHG are also running with a promotion to discount points purchases by up to 80%. The Hilton and IHG points promotions continue for at least another week.
