Wyndham, the owners of Ramada and Days Inn here in the UK, have a little known loyalty scheme named Wyndham Rewards. The group are actually one of the largest in the world with more than 7000 properties currently in their portfolio, though the majority of these are in the US. The hotels in the UK seem to be positioned more towards motorways and larger cities, and are therefore more targeted to the business user.
The Wyndham Rewards hotel loyalty scheme offers 10 points per dollar or a minimum of 1000 points, whichever is greater per booking. All redemptions are priced at a flat rate of 15000 points at any of their hotels throughout the world, or you could choose to pay points and cash starting at 3000 points per night. There are also appears to be no blackout dates when making a reservation.
