Accor Hotels are partnered with several airlines and allow their hotel points to be transferred to various frequent flyer schemes. If you are not a regular at one of their hotels, such as a Novotel or Sofitel, then you will gain a small amount of points that are stuck in your Le Club Accor membership account. Usually the points are too small to redeem towards a free night and are of little use. However with a little trick you can transfer Accor hotel points into Avios by using an Iberia Plus account who use the Avios currency. From there you can either redeem flights, of move them onto a British Airways Executive Club account and pool all of your points together.
Accor points can be transferred into the following frequent flyer schemes. Notice that a direct transfer to Avios.com or British Airways is at a rate of 2 Accor points to 1 Avios, where transferring to Iberia is at a rate of 1 Accor points to 1 Avios.
|British Airways||2:1 ratio|
|Flying Blue||2:1 ratio|
|Miles & More||2:1 ratio|
